Okashi was born in 2008 with the idea of bringing the traditional flavors of Japan to Spain, at a time when only sushi or sashimi was known from the Japanese cuisine.  

However, we soon decided to iniciate a new project, to bring Japan to everyone, regardless of their food restrictions, and thus became the first Japanese restaurant certified 100% gluten and lactose free.

Nevertheless we wanted to reach even more people. Therefore since 2021 we have been and we continue formulating our dished to adapt them to the veganism.

In order to keep all the flavors in their purest form and guarantee quality to our customers, all our preparations are handmade.
